Is This the End of Christianity?

Is this the end of Christianity?

I know it isn’t……..

Here is an article that appeared on today.

This may be a manuscript from the 5th century, but is its claims really going to see the down fall of Christianity. The Holy Bible (Christian) has been solid for thousands of years. This manuscript is what? only hundreds of years old.

These quotes are taken from the news article:

  • “Basij Press has quoted this version of the bible as saying “God has hidden himself as Archangel Michael ran them (Adam and Eve) out of heaven, (and) when Adam turned, he noticed that at top of the gateway to heaven, it was written “La elah ela Allah, Mohamad rasool Allah,”‘ meaning Allah is the only God and Mohammad his prophet.”
  • In February it was claimed The Vatican had made an official request to view the book, which is thought to still lie in a Turkish museum.
  • The bible, confiscated from smugglers by Turkish authorities in 2000 is believed to come from the fifth century and is made from animal hide.
I find it interesting that:
  1.  This manuscript was discovered in 2000, 12 years ago. Why now? Why hasn’t it come out earlier.
  2. The Vatican has mad an official requested to view the manuscript, but it still sits in a Turkish museum.

If this manuscript disproves The Holy Bible than why not release it to the world community when first discovered?

Interesting topic. But is it like a fake find of a skull from millions of years ago. Every time a primitive skull find is breaking news, it is found out to be a fake.

Praise Jesus. Any thoughts from anybody?
